Recently, someone added me on MSN. However, the person did not talk to me at all so I decide to message "Hi" and ask who is this. From the very few statement, you can tell that the conversation is actually done by a computer who tried to act like a young teeenage girl.

For those who are not IT savvy enough, please block and delete such contact from your MSN list if you ever encounter them. Do not click on any link they provide claiming anything from your best friend's adultery to their cutie little panties.

This happen quite awhile ago but somehow, I find this incident super hilarious...

A Greek woman, who allegedly set fire to a drunken British tourist’s genitals in self defence, has become an overnight hero in her country.

The 26-year-old, who has been cheered in public for her actions, is defending charges of causing bodily injuries to the 23-year-old Briton and endangering private property.

She allegedly set fire to the man’s penis and testicles in a nightclub on the island of Crete after he allegedly waved his genitals at a number of women and tried to force her to touch him.

Britain's Daily Telegraph reported that the incident occurred in Mallia, a coastal resort known to be full of British tourists who drink and party heavily.

A police statement said the man took down his trousers and waved his genitals at a number of girls.

He then targeted the 26-year-old Greek woman, "forcefully fondling" her and asking her to grab his genitals.

Police said the woman asked the man to leave her alone but, when he wouldn’t, she poured the alcoholic drink Sabucco over his penis and testicles.

When that also failed to stop his advances, the woman took a lighter and set fire to his genitals, local media reported.

The man received second-degree burns to his penis and testicles. He remains in a private medical clinic in Heraklion, the capital of Crete.

The woman must wait until the hearing today to hear whether the case will go ahead.

The magistrate and prosecutor agreed to set the woman free pending trial, indicating they accepted her argument that she acted in "justifiable self-defence", the Telegraph reported.

Last month, the British Government urged Greece to ban organised "bar-hopping" tours and clamp down on doctored drinks to help stop young British tourists from getting into alcohol-related trouble after a series of incidents.

Received an email from Ah Jiu that the gym (Safra TPY) that we always go to has been scheduled to close for renovation starting July 2010 all the way till.... 2012!!

Well, luckily my Safra membership ending in June. After some discussion, we will prob shift over to Cali at Novena Square since Javon is gymming there as well. Did a quick check on the parking rate and to my relief, it's $2.20 per entry on weekdays after 6pm. Relatively cheap I guess. The only thing is that we have to sign a 3 year plan in order to lower down the monthly fees.

Went to meet Mon after his lesson earlier and headed to Tiong Bahru market for dinner but alas, only a small handful of stalls are opened at 10pm. I still prefer the old Tiong Bahru market instead of the newly renovated one. Somehow, the old hawker centres always seems to have nicer and tastier food.

This week has been packed. Went for a swim last evening after work, headed to gym today, facial tomorrow, gym again on Thurs follow by accompanying my parents to JB on Friday. It's my first time bringing them to JB though. Intending to bring both of them for a Thai massage and my mom to color her hair. Hope they somehow manage to buy some clothes for CNY.

Met up Cindy at Tampines 1 this afternoon for a quick lunch. Super happy to see an old friend back. I certainly miss her alot. She has been eating so much but the good news is... she quitted smoking!! Really hope that she will not pick it up again.

Missed the good old times in Punggol where I stayed in Punggol. After work, we will nua and crap almost every night.

Received a letter of statement from OCBC last evening stating that they will charge $180 for annual fee for my credit card. Call them up this morning and ask them if they could waive off the fee but apparently, they can't after checking my spending history.

As I don't really use their cards at all (except once in a blue moon for their ikea card), I decided to terminate both credit cards with them as I do not want the annual fee to be deducted via Giro.

Anyway, OCBC do not really have that many attractive perks as compared to UOB or Citibank. Maybe that explains why I have been using the cards from the latter two banks constantly since day one.

I hurt my right index finger this morning!!

I was getting ready for work and was walking out of my bedroom toilet. I always have the habit of closing the toilet door and somehow, the door close too fast before I can remove my finger. Hit my finger with a strong impact and immediately, blood begin to flow. It was super pain and I have to immediately apply pressure to stop the bleeding.

The whole of my right arm went completely limp. You know the type of feeling where you just cannot exert any energy no matter how hard you try to. After the bleeding stop, I proceed to leave for work and had difficulties trying to drive to office. Told my colleagues about it when I reach and one of them immediately help me to clean and dress up the wound.



I thought it look so cute with the little bandage. Anyway, due to the pain as well as the size of the bandage, I could hardly type during the first few hours. Subsequently, I remove the bandage and have to slowly regain my typing capability.

Just hope that it will heal fast...

BMI: Body Mass Index is height to weight ratio

BMR: Basal Metabolic Rate represents the total energy expended by the body to maintain normal functions at rest such as respiration and circulation.

Impedance: Impedance reflects the body's inherent resistance to an electrical current. Muscle acts as a conductor of the electrical current, adipose tissue acts as a resistor.

Fat %: The percentage of total body weight that is fat

Fat Mass: Total weight of fat mass in the body

FFM: Fat Free Mass is comprised of muscle, bone, tissue, water, and all other fat free mass in the body.

The guy who helped me with the test told me that I'm still way too lean. It's either I have not been eating enough or I have not been sleeping enough. "You will only grow if you eat and sleep sufficiently." He also mentioned that my legs are too small.

Those who have tampered their fuel gauge to go in Johor, please don't try it again yeah? Apparently 4 drivers have been caught and sentenced to 2 weeks of imprisonment.

SINGAPORE : Four motorists were busted after they allegedly tried to tamper with their fuel gauges using a remote control.

The four Singaporeans are the first to be charged for such an offence this year.

According to the Singapore Customs, two of them had used a device to change the fuel gauge reading at the customs.

They have since pleaded guilty for not having the minimum amount of petrol in their vehicles' fuel tanks when leaving Singapore as well as giving false information to customs officers.

They were each fined S$500 and jailed for two weeks.

Court proceedings are ongoing for the remaining two.

Under the law, Singapore-registered cars must have at least three-quarters tank of petrol when leaving Singapore.

Last year, Singapore Customs prosecuted 24 people for tampering with the fuel gauges on their vehicles.

The offence carries a penalty of a fine not exceeding S$5,000 and a jail term not exceeding 12 months.

Cindy is back on 21st this month which means next Thursday!! Finally, the day has come and I really can't wait to see her. It's been quite awhile and I wonder if she has put on or lost weight..

Time flies and I still remember knowing her at Changi years back. She's always so happy go lucky and as usual super popular with everyone. Missed the days when we stayed at punggol and crap every nite, missed her egg toast and the steamboat sessions. Missed the time we went bangkok and live like a king.

8 more days and I'll get to see her.. I'm sure she is as excited as well. =D

Had a talk with Jaron in MSN earlier and once again, words can't describe how thankful I'm to this brother of mine. It's been a long time since we chatted as he doesn't really login to MSN or rather he probably always login under "offline" mode. Neither did he use Facebook as often as me so it's kinda hard to catch up with him unless I happen to "bump" into him on MSN.

"It's really not worth it if one day u are troubled by money matters!" That's the statement he said to me. We haven been seeing each other much out of late but I'm glad the bond is still there after all these years. Thanks for being there always. =)

Over the years, I'm thankful that all my "family members" still meet up every now and then. You guys and gals know who you are. All the festive dinners, steamboat sessions, Popiah sessions, BBQs, mahjong, chalets, surprise birthday parties. We never failed to have fun during every session. I really look forward to every single one of it.

Life isn't a bed of roses. I had my fair share of ups and downs and I'm sure that applies to everyone. Gary said something which I agree 100%. "We should always stay positive regardless of how much negatives have happened". He himself has always been unlucky, those who know him well enough know what I mean but I'm glad we are all mentally supporting each other at times when we are down.

Had another argument with Dad this morning. Once again, it's all about money issues. I shall not elaborate further but well, ever since I made the decision to switch to my current company two and a half years back, I had been facing with alot of issues.

Since day one, everyone has been asking me how come I make this risky switch? Even till now, people have been telling me that perhaps it's time for me to seek a new job. At times, I get so tired listening to it again and again. No one has ever told me. "Are you happier in your current job now? If yes, then you have made a correct decision."

Happiness versus monetary, which is more important? Seriously before you make a decision, think really carefully about it. At times like this where everything is all money. Can you really be happy when you are broke?

Can you be happy when you are too broke to go out, watch movies, sing KTV, have nice dinners, attend gatherings and birthday parties? Can you really be happy when all you can do is to stay at home with your love ones and spend the entire weekend doing nothing coz there's practically nothing you can do when you don't have the extra cash?

I used to think happiness can co-exist with poverty but somehow, it doesn't apply these days anymore. Your friends probably call you a miser behind your back if you can't afford a nice birthday present when you attend someone's birthday. Your love ones may be bored after awhile if you can't afford to spend some money to at least go out and find some activities to do. Realistically, there's no entertainment in Singapore that doesn't require you to spend a single cent and yet provide you with a fun-filled day.

You have to spend money on expensive food even if you are just window shopping in town. You have to pay for expensive car park rates if you are out the whole day especially on a weekend.

Maybe I really make a big mistake when I paid my car in full. It ended me with all my savings gone and at the same time, having to take a loan from my mom. Now, dad isn't happy about me repaying my mom the miserable monthly loan amount. He says it's too little and I have been spending money unnecessary outside with friends etc. As usual, he kept reprimanding that I should have sticked to my previous job with such a good pay etc.

Deep within, I asked myself. How come no one ever thought whether will I be happy staying in my previous company?

People always say one should find a job that you will be happy working for it, people always say money isn't the most important thing in the world but is it really true after all?

I'm currently working in a job which I'm genuinely happy. I don't need to drag myself to the office everyday. However, people has been asking me to change my job which can provide me with a higher pay. Does having a high pay job really bring one's happiness?

"Happiness is a choice!" That's the statement I have always believe in and thus, it helps me in all my decisions so far including changing from a stable high pay job to a unstable one. That has always been my MSN title but today, I have decided to change it.

Happiness perhaps isn't a choice anymore. Today in this world, without money, you probably won't have any happiness to start with. At least, not in my current situation...

Met up with the guy whom I got into a minor accident on the first day of the year this afternoon. Paid $300 and finally close the case but however, someone stole my favorite pair of Adidas sneakers on the same evening.

It's not the price that I'm concern at all but it's my favourite pair which I got it from Bangkok 2 years back. I actually tried to go back to the same store again when I went back to Bangkok but apparently, that model wasn't available anymore.

Tried searching it online when I got home but it seems that no one has that pair of shoes at all. View pages after pages of Adidas sneakers but to no avail. Don't think I can ever get back that exact model.

I guess it's fated. Luck hasn't been good since the beginning of the year. Hopefully it doesn't extend anymore. Please.... =(

On a lighter note, I had a fun weekend. Went to Ken's birthday BBQ at his condo after my work last Friday, it was nice to see the usual group and as usual, tons of jokes and laughter. Mon and I headed to ECP on Sat afternoon. Spend 4 hours on my blades while Mon cycle before stopping at Geylang for dinner with Mon's mom.

Woke up early today to go for K lunch a Safra Jurong. 3 hours of singing, two lunch and two drinks and it only costs us $28. The gym at Safra Jurong is super new and big with a lot more variety of machines which I see at Fitness First or True Fitness. If only they renovate the gym at Safra TPY and put in all the new machines as well. Yeah.. dream on...

Last but not least, it's 11th of the month again. 2 months since I'm attached. Looking forward to many more to come.

I'm so tempted to buy a new pair of Adidas shoes but I don't think I can afford it now. Anyway, I hasn't seen any design that caught my attention. They are so comfortable to wear but the designs that I saw in Singapore are all so boring and common. It's so easy to find someone wearing the same pair as you walk along the street these days.

It's the 5th day of the new year.

It didn't start quite well though. Bumped into a car on the very first day of the year while queuing to enter a car park. It was a super light bump, my car wasn't damaged or scratched at all but the car owner said he will send it for inspection and repair. Called me up the next day saying it will cost $300. -_-"

Anyway, decided to buy the cheapest tickets to Ah Mei's concert after much contemplation. Watching her singing live in concert is one of the things which will make me super happy. I can't afford the most expensive seats so just have to make do with the cheapest one. I'm sure I'll still be overwhelmed by her great vocal.

Accompanied Mon to AH yesterday to do some scope test and results shown that he has inflammation on his stomach. Doctor told him that he has to stop smoking and I'm glad he promised that he will cut down and quit by this year. =)

Though the start of the new year hasn't been smooth, I'm certain things will get better down the road.
