Today marks the last day of 2009!

This year seems to pass super quickly. Looking back, I placed most of my emphasis on work, family, friends and gym. Went on a fun Batam trip with Jaron, Gary and Joan. I'm glad at the end of the day, we still make it a point to gather once in awhile.

Relationship-wise, I never seek for it. Again, it appear when I least expect it. I came to know Mon and we got together recently after knowing each other for a few months.

Headed to Seattle and Vancouver for work in July, had a great time in KL with Mon, Noel, Lays, Lincoln and Victor in Sep and was in Korea for work again in Nov.

This year has been generally good for me. Company revenue is increasing steadily; friends are all around, you guys know who you are. At the same time, I made new friends and got attached. =)

I guess it's so true when one says that time flies once you are past 30. Year 2009 seems to have past in a blink of an eye. In a few hours time, I'll be 32. Thankfully, I don't look like one.

Like what I have always believed, happiness is a choice. It can be so simple but at the same time so difficult to attain. Whenever I get angry, I'll tell myself that I can either dwell in it forever or try to forget about it and stay positive. Trust me, it gets alot easier as you go along.

To all my friends, I'm glad we have been there for one another all these years. We may not meet very often but I definitely enjoyed every single gathering with all the jokes and craps, fun and laughter. Everyone is busy with their own work and lives but whenever we meet up, there's always an unspeakable bond that tie everyone to everyone.

To all you readers who are attached, may you guys (and girls) be even closer in the upcoming year whereas to those singles, enjoy your singlehood and live each day happily. Make new friends and let fate do its amazing work.

To Mon, it's definitely a blessing to have you appear in my life. All the best to your studies. It's gonna be tough but I'm sure you can do it. Thank you for loving me and I look forward to more wonderful things to come in the new year ahead.

My first attempt to blog using my Blackberry.. I'm still in the process of getting used to the keypad but its getting easier by the days.

Christmas was spent over 2 lovely dinners! One at Mon's place with his friends and the other spent at Elf's place with the usual group. Watched Alvin & Chipmunks 2 as well as Avatar 3D over the long weekends, both shows are nice especially Avartar with its amazing realistic graphics in 3D..

The following is gonna be a short working week as well.. And I'm so not in the mood to work. I guess it applies to most ppl for this year...

Oh yeah, I just set up my twitter recently.. Used to have an account previously but never use it. For those who are on twitter, follow me at twitter.com/ahked. I'll twit a lot more using my phone as compared to using my lappie.

I finally got my first smart phone today. Have been contemplating to get myself a Blackberry since years ago but the thought of having to check my work emails have been putting me off.

With the good reviews of Blackberry Bold from almost everyone who use it, I finally decide to join the Blackberry club when it's successor, Bold 2 is released in the market.

Blackberry Bold 9700 aka Bold 2 was officially launched by Starhub last Saturday and today, I make a trip to Plaza Sing early in the morning to get it before heading to office. The phone is retailed at $498 but I was told that there will be a $50 discount if I renew another 2 years contract. Additionally, another $150 off if I trade in my Sony Ericsson G705. I end up getting the phone at $298 which I thought is kinda reasonable given such a sleek looking phone.

Of course, I have to sign up for the Blackberry data plan and incidentally, there's a promotion on the monthly subscription of $19.90 as well. 30% off and I only need to pay a monthly fee of $13.93 for the next 24 months. Overall, it's quite a great deal for both the phone and the data plan.

The guy over the counter told me that I have to wait for 5 working days in order to activate my Blackberry data plan. A check with my friend later in the day revealed that her plan was activated within half day. Called up Starhub and got the CSO to expedite my activation for me. Hopefully, it'll be done before Christmas.

I'm still in the midst of getting used to the keypad but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in no time. That's it, time for dinner. Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas!!
