LOVE Was talking to a friend on the topic of love and I said.. "I believe in true love but I don't believe in everlasting love" at the moment. Does that means that I will not be able to love a person whole-heartedly forever? No... I don't mean that. What I meant was.. I'm able to love a person whole-heartedly and endlessly only under the correct environment. There are just too many obstacles to prevent you from loving someone unconditionally forever. Betrayal, misundestandings, inability to communicate on the same frequency, lack of same common interest, lack of trust, self-centric, inexperienced... so on and so forth. Does that means I don't truly love my partner when I'm in a relationship? No.. I'm proud to say that for all my relationships, my love for my partner have always been 100% true. I always place my partner as a higher priority than myself. I get them things which I don't even bear to buy it for myself. Why? Simple... I'm happy to see them happy. I have grown alot and learn alot over the years. I have learn how to be a better boyfriend, I saw how some of my exs fair so much better than me in certain areas and it makes me love them even more. Reason? Because during that particular moment, you really felt the love that was emitting from them. I don't know how to explain it in details but trust me, you can feel the love they had for you. Incidentally, I also think that love is a weird thing. If one day your partner is no longer beside you, no longer part of your life, the amount of love you have for your partner starts to fade (without you realizing) regardless whether you want it or not. Yeah, you will still miss them, you do things to hide your sadness, pick up new hobbies to distract yourself from thinking about the past but like the saying goes... "Time heals all wounds... and fades all love". Knowing this fact, it's even more aching coz you are scare. Scare of what? Scare of the fact that you know your love for your ex is fading over time.. Part of you try hard to let go and go on with your life, but yet another part of you clings on to it tightly... because you were once so in love with this person. People comes and goes from your life. When someone you love left, they leave a big hole in your life. The size of this hole greatly depends on how close and how much you once shared your lives together. Obviously, the closer you were together before, the bigger and deeper this hole is. You suddenly realize you are alone, with so much time to spare and yet nothing to do. Some choose to dwell on and on, others start finding things to fill up this hole.. but what does that only means? That means you are doing things to decrease your love for that person which is commonly known as "moving on". During this phrase, there will be new people venturing into your life, some stop for awhile and leave, some become friends while there may be others who try to replace the hole that has yet to be filled. The most cruel part comes when you know you have already moved on... coz that will means you are now ready to accept someone new in your life and the love you once had so deeply for your ex are nothing but sweet memories... PS: Someone asked me... "Close your eyes and tell me what do you see." Unknowningly, I have already captured my answer in one of the pics in my previous entry. [8:33 pm] Monday, 29 December 2008
Another rainy day I used to be a very deep sleeper but for some reason, I have been waking up by small little noise recently. Despite sleeping at around 2ish, I was actually waken up at 6:30 this morning by some neighbour who was praying and at the same time hitting the wooden fish (Go wiki if you don't know what's a wooden fish). I don't mean to be rude but don't you think it's kinda inconsiderate to start making noise at 6 plus where most people are sleeping and the entire environment is so quiet that I can hear nothing but the constant knocking of the fish? At 7 plus, I was once again awaken by the stupid wind chimes from my kitchen. The last straw came when my dad decides to have breakfast in the kitchen and starts talking so loudy to my mum. Thought of going for a swim after breakfast but well, another rainy day... Have been snapping with my new camera phone though the quality sucks big time. I shall post a few random pics here and there... The lonely path ahead... Never too old Was blading along ECP on Friday late afternoon. Was resting before heading back home on a stone chair when these middle-aged couple came beside me and sat down. I didn't really take notice of them during the first few minutes till I realize both of them are putting on their blades as well. I mean from the way the dress, you can never tell that they are here for blading. After putting on their blades, the lady headed first while the guy follow behind. It suddenly dawn on me that this couple though with a certain age are still so adventurous. They just left their shoes, bags and stuff near where I sat and start blading away. I thought it's a bit weird but I guess they have been doing this regularly so much so that they know their stuffs will remain untouched. [10:02 am] Friday, 26 December 2008
Dance on skates I'm deeply impressed by this small little girl... [3:32 pm] A day out with the gang Was at Elf's place on Christmas eve for dinner. Dinner was nice and as always, he prepared so much food that we only finished like half of what was on the table. Was out with Jaron, Gary, Joan & Dewei again yesterday, had kampong chicken rice at Tiong Bahru area followed by a walk at Teloh Blangah Hills. Everyone was in berms and sporty casual wear except for us whom were in jeans and streetwear. It didn't too long for everyone to give up and headed back to Tiong Bahru plaza for coffee, cheesecake and mudpie. Hahahaha!! Caught "Bedtime stories" and it was quite funny though the ending is kinda predictable. I will still prefer "Sex and the City" and "House Bunny" over this show tough. Ended the day having Popeye Chicken at Singapore Flyer. Chicken was average, fries not too bad, mash potato was nice, the rest like biscuits, are sucky. Quite expensive though. Delerium ft Sarah McLachlan - Silence A very beautiful remix of Silence by Niels Van Gogh & Thomas Gold. [12:58 pm] The day the flyer stood still Question: What's common between death and toilet? Answer: When you have to go, you have to go... Just imagine those who need to pee or worse stomachache...and oh btw there are cameras in every single cabin. -_-" On a brighter note, these passengers who paid $30 for 30 minutes definitely got their money worth it... SINGAPORE – (UPDATE 5) A power disruption left more than 100 passengers stranded above ground in the world's biggest observation wheel for about six hours on Tuesday, forcing some to abseil down to safety. A few lowered themselves in a sling-like device on a rope from one of the observation capsules before the Singapore Flyer eventually began turning again to allow other trapped passengers to walk out, an AFP reporter witnessed. Power was restored at about 11:11 pm (1511 GMT). A 70-year-old woman complaining of dizziness, and a boy who vomited were taken to hospital, said Lieutenant Colonel N. Subhas, of the paramedic and fire service. Read the full article here. [11:00 am] Tuesday, 23 December 2008

Likewise, there were sad and unfortunate events. Once again, it strengthen me in one way or another. Being a christian, I didn't really believe much when my mum told me that this year is going to be a tough year for me. I haven been going to church for the longest time, I can't remember when is the last time I prayed. Deep within, what's left is just faith and belief. Nevertheless, I'm glad I have grown over the months. I have learnt how to control my own emotions, I have learnt how to pick myself up, I have learnt not to dwell and end up wasting my life away. It has never been easy but I'm glad I succeeded. I make full use of my free time when I'm not working. I rest, gym, swim, blade and dance. I got fitter both mentally and physically. One more week to a brand new year. I will continue to work hard towards my goals. I have survived the downs, it's time for me to enjoy the ups... [1:08 pm] Saturday, 20 December 2008
I hate this feeling I hate the feeling of troubled by monetary issues. I know it should be the last thing to bother me but realistically, it did affect me in one way or another. Friends buying christmas gifts for me and I don't have the capability to return any. I guess I have never been in such a sorry plight in the past 30 years of my life. Perhaps I really did a very wrong move of throwing my entire savings and get my car without any loan. I always believe in working for passion and not money coz I believe money will come automatically if you have the passion and correct working attitude. Somehow, when the cold hard cruel truth sets in, when you need to pay for this and that, you'll start to realize money really does wonders. Friends have been telling me that they are always hearing me saying I'm broke. Given a choice, will I choose to say it? However, did I not always make it an effort to share birthday presents no matter how tight I am? I don't blame them for making this statement though. I guess I'm just angry with myself. There are always ups and downs in everyone's life. I'm amazed that I actually survived with 1/3 pay of what I used to get home for the past 1 year. Some may find me stupid. Yes or no, I know it better than anyone else. There's always a risk in everything. I choose to bet on the potential of my company. If I succeed, I won't forget those who I'm in debt with. If I don't, I won't be afraid to start all over again. Thanks to those who have helped me in one way or another. You guys know who you are... [11:53 pm] 1st post deleted I actually typed a previous post and there was an error when I click on the Publish Post button. Just as I guessed, everything was deleted. FUCK! Lazy to type again so i shall write in point forms instead. - Start work since 9am - Finally finished at 4ish - Headed to ECP to collect my blade (costs me $20) - Got back home at 5ish - Right hand & butt still aching from the badminton session - Comtemplating whether to go out or not - If yes, either blade, coffee with friends or club. This post better don't get deleted again... [5:29 pm] Friday, 19 December 2008
Sporty sporty... Had my hair cut this morning. My usual stylist cum friend went back to Malaysia and won't be back too soon so I headed down to the salon near my place. I told the stylist I want a different look, something more sporty. Quite happy with the result, it's been ages since I had slopes at the sides and back of my head. Nevertheless, it didn't make me look too nerdy (not at least to me). It's a Friday but I have to work tomorrow though not forgetting that I have to wake up at 8 sharp. Shucks!! The Virgo Sometimes you can't help but believing how true horoscopes can be... Positive Traits - Modest and shy - Meticulous and reliable - Practical and diligent - Intelligent and analytical Negative Traits - Fussy and a worrier - Overcritical and harsh - Perfectionist and conservative The child of Virgo is quiet, peaceful and shy. Virgo Baby is very delicate and will be selective about food very early. Once his parents know what he likes, he is easy to please, does not demand too much work, and does what he is asked to. As he grows he starts to show his intelligence and his capacity for details. He has fun discovering things other people usually do not see. He is tidy and neat with his toys. He is very shy with strangers at home; he does not speak, he hides in different places, or he just stands motionless. As he starts to feel comfortable, he releases pressure. Steven Lim & (supposedly) Super Hot Babe Got this video from a colleague and got so sick after viewing. Some may argue that we got no rights to pass So what if you are famous? Is fame really something so important? Maybe it is to some but I will never want fame even if it's given to me free. My personal and private life outweigh any fame. Seriously, this video makes me lose my appetite... View the video at your own risk!! [4:43 pm] Monday, 15 December 2008
It's a Monday & I got no mood to work I'm so in holiday mood. Reached office around 11ish earlier but don't feel like working. End up, I went to ECP with Jaron to send my blade for repair. They don't have the stock for the original buckle so I have to wait till Friday before I can collect it. Weekend was quite fulfilling. Thursday - Swimming Friday - Swimming & Clubbing Saturday - Blading x 2 sessions Sunday - Gym, Swimming Oh yeah, I need to eat more red meat.. I need more proteins. (I mean proteins from red meat and not anything else, don't think too much). My weight dropped again by 2 kgs to 58. I have been eating alot le but maybe not enough meat to build up mass. I just want to gain mass to 65kg. That will be my ideal weight. Did I mention I can actually pull down my Levis jeans of size 30 easily now? Oh yeah, I need a private pool to learn free style. Jaron is going to teach me. I hope I can master it easily... [2:29 pm] Sunday, 14 December 2008
Broken buckle ARGH!!! I broke my right blade's buckle last night while skating at ECP. I must have tighten it way too much till it actually snap. Keeping my fingers crossed that it can be replaced. =( [12:43 pm] Saturday, 13 December 2008
800 bucks Just got back from ECP with Jaron. He cycled while I blade. It's been a long time since I blade. Enjoy the session as we talk and crap about everything under the sun. Got home and seriously surprised to receive the below message... Not bad for a old guy like me huh? $800 bucks for quick and discreet fun... Sender name has been cropped to prevent any possible unpleasant situations but this is a real message that was sent to me. Should I consider? Hmm... Haha! [6:47 pm] Friday, 12 December 2008
Always Online Referencing to the new song "Always Online" by JJ, this is a 6 minutes short movie that I think most of you will like. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do... [12:02 pm] Wednesday, 10 December 2008
[1:57 pm] Tuesday, 9 December 2008
方炯鑌 (阿鑌) - 壞人 Quite a nice song by a new singer from Malaysia... [5:17 pm] A lazy Tuesday Long weekends are forever short. Went for a japanese buffet at Hotel Miramar on Sunday with Joan, Dina, Jaron, Ben and Dontris. Dinner was fun with all the usual craps and laughters. Headed to plus after that and end up reaching home at 2ish. Saw Ah Jiu and his partner while I was working out at TPY Safra yesterday. Was sitting down sipping my water when he pat me on my shoulder. Kinda surprised to see a familiar face besides uncles and aunties. On a random note, I'm using my last pair of contact lenses. Need to head down to AMK central to get new lenses for the next 12 months soon. I ask mum for measuring tape this morning before I put on my top to measure my waist. 28 inches. My ideal waistline. Haha! =) Gym membership is ending this month too. Will most probably renew it on a monthly basis. If only I can afford the fees at Fitness First at AMK hub. Its so convenient for me. Self proclaimed off Send my notebook for servicing and thanks to Elf for making everything so smoothly. Didn't report for work today since I can't work without my notebook. Oh, my two bosses weren't in town so they actually didn't know about my absence. I don't intend to tell them either. Hahaha! =P Anyway, slept at around 3ish last night but was awaken by the stupid drill again at about 8:30am this morning. I end up waking up feeling frustrated and decide to go for a swim followed by gym since I was advised not to continue running . It's been a long long time since I stepped into a pool. Fortunately, I was still able to complete my usual 20 non-stop laps but instead of 25 minutes, it took me 35 minutes. Time to train back my aqua stamina. Headed to town to collect my notebook in the evening and it look so new, the technician actually clean the entire casing and LCD screen. It does look different from the time I send it in. Last month of this year. Time really flies and waits for no one. I shall continue to focus on my career and health. Been cutting down alot on ciggies. It's hard to quit completely but at least I try to smoke not more than 2 sticks on weekday. Meanwhile, I'm still working hard on my lower abs. Got addicted to the mediacorp drama series "Little Nonya" after hearing from Jaron it's good. After watching a few episodes, I have to admit that it is addictive. Not to mention the Nonya kuays. They simply make me drool like a kid staring at a candy. There's this new stall selling all these nonya kuays at the coffeeshop below my office. Though I know most of them are very fattening, I'm quite sure I will be patronising the stall tomorrow. [12:20 am] |
