Want to gain muscle without training? Just imagine yourself having the ability to build muscle without any training at all. At first thought, it seems almost impossible. How can muscle grow by themselves if you lie down on bed without doing any exercises or weights training. Yet... For some people and some animals, it's possible. The truth? They are all suffering from Myostatin deficiency. I have tried to do a wiki about it but apparently, there's none at the moment. However, you guys can wish to take a look at the following web page to find out more about Myostatin deficiency. Click here. [6:01 pm] Friday, 24 April 2009

[11:42 am] Tuesday, 14 April 2009
Fulfilling weekend Wanted to blade on Sat but as usual, it decides to rain. Met up Imran and the band members in the evening while they were finishing their steamboat buffet at Bugis. Super fun bunch of guys and gal. We went over to Fort Canning Park and had fun listening to them practicing their repertoire. Headed to club after that and it was so damn packed. Dance for an hour before we join Baby, Wendy and Ah Nan at a corner... and that's when I saw Dean, someone whom I haven met for like 6 years? I almost couldn't recognise him initially till Imran tell me his name. Went home around 3ish and almost couldn't wake up in time for facial. Proceed to gym after facial before heading back home to rest and prepare another new week of work. Suppose to meet up Jarell and Albin for dinner and KTV after work earlier but I'm just too tired to join them after I clear all my stuffs. Oh yeah, I have to renew my road tax within the next 10 days. Guess I'll do it at the AXS machine after gym tomorrow... [12:55 am] Friday, 10 April 2009
Congratulations to Alvin Had a great time over at Alvin's pub last evening. It's been ages since I step into Boat Quay and it was good to see faces whom I have not met for quite awhile. The Karaoke system have to be off at 11pm and dance tracks were next. I took the opportunity to pass my mp3 player to wei wei and finally, I get to hear my favourite tracks in a pub. The only other place I'll get to hear it is at Cafe Del Mar though. The flowers that we sent was nice. Snapped a shot but the lousy resolution doesn't do any justice to it. We reached the place at 8ish and left around 3. Tired but it was indeed a nice gathering. I guess there's going to be our new chill-out place in the future. All the best to Audition!! The little imperfect things that make them perfect [3:46 pm] Wednesday, 8 April 2009
Pace of life ![]() Since young, we have been trained to move along with the fast pace of the city life. Day in day out, you see people rushing during peak hours, dashing for buses and trains and packing lunch back to office (which I do almost everyday). It seems like our mind has been trained to adapt to fast activities. We tend to nag and grumble when the queue we are standing seems to be slower than the rest. I'm sure everyone will agree with me that such incidents have ever happen to you be it in airports, fastfood outlets or even NTUC. Having spent my entire life in this fast little city, it suddenly dawned on me that should this be the way I want to live my life forever? Everyone always say... Life is short! All of us know this at the back of our head but unfortunately, due to the fact that we need to make our ends meet, pay this bill, pay that installment, we have to work our lungs out. Round and round in this never-ending rat race. In the midst of entangling in this race, we have failed to slow down our pace and enjoy the beauty of life. To make things worse, almost everyone you see day to day is putting on a mask. Politics, back-stabbings, arguments, miscommunications, shits from colleagues, extra work from bosses, we are so used to them that unconsciously, it leads to adding more stress to our already pressurized life. I really hope that one day, I can spend perhaps a year or two of my life in a slow pace environment. A place where everyone greet everyone, where everyone smile at everyone. No pressure, no stress, no mind games, only sincere care and concern. Maybe I won't get used to it initially, I'll most probably get impatient every now and then when I encounter someone taking their own sweet time to do something but over time, I'm sure I'll learn to appreciate life even more than just wake up, rush for work, knock off, head home, rest, eat and sleep only to wake up to another routine cycle again... Sincere or fake Read Jaron's blog and I have to admit that some of the stuff he mentioned are so true. More often that not, whatever praises that someone who has a crush on you vanished into thin air the moment that feeling of liking is gone. Speaking of maturity, these people are just not capable of handling any relationship. How many of you have experience someone who blatantly claim to (even) love you when they don't even understand the true meaning of love? Real love exists when your feeling for a particular person remain unchanged even if the feeling has evolved to only one-sided. It's just like how the love of a mother to her son will never fade regardless of how much the son hates her or a wife of an useless husband choose to continue to stick to him though everyone else is advising her to give up on the relationship. Next, there's indeed a very thin line between someone who constantly need to receive positive recognition from people around him or her versus someone who doesn't sought for praises but yet duly deserve it. All of us know that every now and then, it does feel good to be praised. This usually results in giving us the motivation to do even better. Think of how an infant learn to walk, a puppy learn to be toilet trained or a new employee picking up skills in a new company. Ultimately, it leads down to the sincerity of the person praising. However, the sad truth is, the praises always get lesser as we grow older. How many of us have actually praise someone we really care for sincerely in the last one month? I guess most of us have to think real hard before coming out with an answer. A person who constantly needs to receive praises in order to have confidence is indeed pathetic. Likewise, a mature person should know how to receive praises as much as how to accept criticism. Of course, with that said, one have to remember that both praises as well as criticisms can be also be sincere or insincere. As much fake praises there may be, there are also tons of people who resort to unscrupulous criticisms to bring someone down. End of the day, one can only depend on oneself to gauge the sincerity of all the positive or negative comments others have given to them. I guess there's where maturity plays a big role.
