Just got back from movie "The Ugly Truth", once again, it reminded me of something which I firmly believe in...

"If you can ever justify a reason for loving someone, it probably isn't love to begin with."

There are several school of thoughts. Some believe in love at first sight while others believe love can be nurtured over time. End of the day, I guess everyone fell in love in different ways.

But ultimately, one should understand that when one truly love a person, there should not be any reasons for it. You simply can't use any logic to explain how you feel about a person and why you feel this way. Of course, this can only happen when time is taken to understand him or her, both the good and bad points. I guess that's where you differentiate between a crush and a genuine love.

Personally, I never believe in searching for love. It always happen when you least unexpected it but end of the day, whether is it sustainable really depends on mutual parties' characteristics, maturity level, ability to compromise, communication as well as trust.

A successful relationship is never based on it's duration. However, a long lasting relationship requires tons of effort on both parties to sustain. Unfortunately, for most people, love can fade just as amazingly as it appears. A long lasting relationship is always sought but somehow, it never really happens.

Quality over quantity or quality and quantity? I guess very few lucky chaps get to enjoy the latter...

Just got home from Ting's wedding function. I missed the solemnization though as I didn't know it was at 5pm. I was super tired so I message Ting that I will go over later and took a nap. End up, I received a call at 5 plus and was told that the solemnization was over.

I rush down and got there within 30 minutes and it was nice to see Auntie, Brenda, Ting Ting and her hubby. Ting Ting look so sweet in her purple short gown. Hang around till around 8 before I send Brenda back home and took the opportunity to visit Mango.

Mango was so happy to see me. Of course, I'm super happy to see him too. It's been awhile since I visit him though. I'm glad he still remember me.

Jaron got me this Sony wearable MP3 player for my birthday. Just nice for me to use it for gym. I simply love it. Thanks brother... It really comes in handy.

Oh yeah.. I'm going Sentosa tomorrow, it's been quite awhile since the last time. I'm really looking forward to it. Gonna rest early tonight... Gone!!

It's the 14 of September 2009 today and this marks my 31 years old birthday.

Thanks to Noel, Monster, Greg and Edison for organizing a KTV session on Saturday and the surprise birthday cake by Gary. Had dim sum for dinner around Mustafa area before that. The traffic was chaotic but I did managed to secure a lot after awhile.

Met up for dinner on Sunday with Jaron and gang. We went for this buffet at hotel located near Changi Village (I didn't notice the hotel name though). Food was not bad and the Laksa was good. We went over Dempsey after dinner but all of them are closing so we ended up at Holland Village. Had my New York cheese cake, it's damn fulfilling as it's been a long long time since I indulge. =)

Went gym earlier before meeting my god-brother for dinner at this Japanese outlet along Upper Thomson. Well, birthday is over soon and tomorrow back to office as usual.

Thanks for all the well wishes via SMS and facebook. I did enjoyed myself a lot over the weekend. =)

Went Dempsey with Gary last Sunday, had Ben & Jerry ice-cream follow by chit chat over at Dome. It's been a while since we catch up. We literally chatted for hours over drinks.

Anyway, I was down with gastric flu the following day. In fact, my tummy felt bloated ever since the ice-cream. Went to see my family doc and got 2 days MC. Took the medicine and slept quite a fair bit as it causes drowsiness. Heard from the doc that it's spreading quite wildly recently.

Got much better on the second day and I'm back in office today. My Japan trip is not going to come true. I guess my boss will be going alone. Too bad for me...

Birthday is round the corner. Turning 31 and honestly, it's just another ordinary day to me. I don't even look forward to it much.

Going to KL next month. It's very impromptu though and I hope it will be a relaxing get-away short trip for me.

This song never fails to remind me of my granny who passed away on 02 Oct 2008. It's going to be a year since she left and every time I heard this song, all my childhood memories with her will start flowing back uncontrollably.

My only regret is that I was not staying at home during that period and didn't have much opportunities to interact and talk to her.
